District Cricket Rules

LVSSA Cricket

  1. The draws will be made randomly with 2 leagues of 4 teams per group.
  2. Group games should be played by Friday 21st June.  Please try to keep to this deadline in order for the tournament to run smoothly.
  3. The semi-finals and finals have been planned leaving the last 4 weeks of term. I will try to find a neutral ground for each final but there are no guarantees.
  4. Fixtures have been drawn suggesting the home team, but this can be changed if agreed by staff.
  5. The top 2 from each group will progress to the semi-final stage.  The winners of each group will play at home, unless otherwise agreed by staff.
  6. I will  send updated league tables out during the season and will try to get the website updated too.
  7. The winning team should forward the results of each fixture as soon as possible.  Please could you also ensure that the full result (both scores) is included.
  8. As with all LVSSA tournaments, any team regularly failing to meet deadlines may be removed from the competition.
  9. All results and any queries regarding the competition please contact me
